Children who visit museums with their parents are much more likely to continue visiting museums in adult life and to take their own children. Learning in the museum offers a unique experience but how can museums support healthier, happier communities? How can extended families get the most from a museum visit?  What happens when children take over a museum for a day?  How can digital technologies encourage participation from people unable to visit a museum? These are just some of the questions that will be explored during this panel discussion.

Panelists will include; Miranda Stearn, Head of Learning, Fitzwilliam Museum,Cambridge, UK, Manal Ataya Director General, Sharjah Museums Department & Dea Berkett, Creative Director of Kids in Museums,UK.

The networking reception will begin at 6pm and the panel disucssion will start promptly at 6:30pm.
