Bringing together emerging and established filmmakers from the UK and the UAE
The British Council in partnership with Image Nation Abu Dhabi will organise a special week-long event that brings together emerging and established filmmakers from the UK and the UAE.
The festival will consist of a film industry symposium held in Abu Dhabi followed by a touring short-film festival across the Emirates.
Building on the success of local initiatives such as Image Nation Abu Dhabi’s Arab Film Studio, this film festival seeks to:
- showcase excellence in contemporary Emirati and British film
- provide a forum for professional exchange
- inspire the next generation of film-makers.
The film festival is presented by Image Nation Abu Dhabi and the British Council, with support from the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
