UK Spotlight at DIFF
This year's Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) and the British Film Institute presents the UK Spotlight at the festival, an initiative which aims to connect film professionals from the UK and the Arab world to exchange information, expertise and experience and to build future collaboration.
The UK Spotlight will include:
- The screening of a selection of British films as part of the film programme;
- A UK films section in Cinetech, the Dubai Film Market's digital, sales and acquisitions platform for regional and international distributors, sales agents and festival programmers;
- A UK speaker participating in an industry related panel discussion;
- A closed networking session in the Forum Conference and creative and cultural exchange in ‘The Writers Room’, a platform which aims to inspire and expand individual networks across cultures.
